IMPORTANT: The following Apple laptop models do not support audio when connected to an HDMI adapter: MacBook (Late 2009), MacBook (13-inch Aluminum Late 2008), MacBook Pro (late 2008), (Mid 2009), and (Early 2009). If you are using one of these models in a room equipped with HDMI, you will not need to use an adapter and it is recommended that you use the HDMI connection. The Macbook Pro with Retina Display models (13 and 15 inches) also have HDMI ports.
